Setting up a Claude project

A Claude project is a dedicated space where the Deep Insights Agent connector and your business context are always active. You don't need to re-enable tools or re-paste background information at the start of every new conversation.

Project setup takes about 5 minutes. It's optional but recommended.

Before you start

You'll need:

• The Deep Insights Agent connector already set up in your organisation. See Setup guide for administrators.
• Your business context text, provided by your Ometria CSM.

Create the project

1. In Claude, select New project from the left-hand sidebar.
2. Give it a name, for example Ometria Analytics.

Add the connector and business context

1. Inside the project, select the edit icon next to Instructions.
2. In the Set project instructions modal, paste in the context text shared by your Ometria CSM.
3. Scroll to Recommended Tools at the bottom of the modal and enable Deep Insights Agent.
4. Select Save instructions.

The context and connector are now active in every conversation in this project.

If you want, select + next to Files to upload any additional supporting documents you'd like Claude to reference.

Share with colleagues (optional)

Select Share at the top of the project to invite teammates by email. They'll each need to complete the setup in Connecting to Ometria's Deep Insights Agent and authenticate against their own Ometria account.
